Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri is an Indian actress who has gained fame for her role in Hum Aapke Hain Koun as well as Beta Saajan. In the late 80s when she started her acting career. She became well-known for the character Tezaab in which she appeared alongside the veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Her next film was the movie Dil where she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. In Mumbai her home, she grew up in a family of middle-class parents. At a very young age, she began to take dance lessons. In her early years, as she began acting as a young actress, most of the films she created did not succeed. In the end, she was successful with Indian cinema and rose to the very top. The marriage of her mother led to an interruption in her career. She returned later. In recent times, she was in a prominent part as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film featured the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit is nominated in fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these she's won eight. Padma Shri - the fourth highest civilian honor in India awarded to Dixit. The award was also given to her for her efforts in the field of social work.
