Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico was born to the music-loving parents of her family. When she was a kid, she listened to many traditional music as well as traditional Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is a lover of the opera and tango genres as well as any form of dramatic performance. After singing with her mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in vocals at age 16 under the tutelage of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. The beginning of her professional career included performances with a variety of orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs in Guadalajara. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. Passion and enthusiasm for music, art, and performing keeps her involved in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana is also a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage other people to follow in her footsteps.
